Setting up your Survey

Home Page

By default, when users sign in, they will be directed to the survey form. However, you have the option to configure the landing page by selecting the appropriate option from the ‘Home Page?’ drop-down menu.

Template Library

Innovation Minds offers a variety of science-backed survey templates that enable you to collect data from your users. You have the option to select a template that aligns with the goal of your survey and customize it using the ‘Customize Survey Form’ feature in the admin panel. Alternatively, you can design your own themes and questions. Innovation Minds supports all commonly used question types, including Textbox, Select, Radio button, text area, and more.

Language Support

Innovation Minds allows you to conduct your survey in the native languages of your users. At present, we offer support for English and Spanish. We can also add other languages as per your requirement.

Minimum Response Threshold

With this particular feature, you have the authority to manage the KPIs, Insights, KYOs, and Reports that are presented by specifying a limit for completed responses. As soon as the number of completed responses equals or goes beyond the threshold value, all the statistics will be made visible. However, participation and response rates will always be shown.

Anonymous Responses

Most employee surveys are sensitive, hence it is essential to provide a secure environment for the respondents to express their opinions. By enabling the anonymity feature, the respondent’s name will not be disclosed on the ‘All Surveys Page’ and CSV downloads.

Response Restriction

The surveys generally limit respondents to providing only one response. Nevertheless, you have the option to override this restriction in case you require it.

Setup Access Rules (optional)

At this point in the process, you can define who will have access to respond to your survey based on the combination of core employee attributes.

External Users

To allow external users to participate in the survey, you can either add them individually by selecting the ‘Add User’ option in the ‘User Management (includes GDPR)’ admin screen or upload multiple users at once using the ‘Upload Users (CSV File)’ option.

Response Visibility

The default setting for the survey responses is private; however, you can make them public by updating the role access management. You can only see your own responses, but administrators will always be able to see all responses after modifying the role access.

You will provide a few pieces of information to make the survey intuitive for your users. These details are straightforward and does not require specific expertise.

Rolling out your Survey

Communication Plan

Bulk Invites

Use the ‘Send Bulk Emails’ admin feature to send bulk invitations quickly and easily. *There is also a feature that allows you to send unique invites for each of your users so they can skip the login step to seamlessly access the survey form, while maintaining a secure access.

Reminders (Response rates of almost 100%)

Use the same Send Bulk Emails feature to send reminders to users who have not completed their surveys yet. This is an easy-to-use feature instead of relying on any manual follow-ups or other tools. You may also use Innovation Minds templates and features to send reminders to managers to encourage their unresponsive reports.

Tracking and reporting your survey

As the survey progresses, managers can access real-time KPIs, Insights, roll-up reports and CSV downloads to stay on top of their organization’s response. Admins have the special privilege of reviewing analytics from a root level or *even a select set of responses rolled up by a given Location, Cost Center, or Manager Organization.

Action Planning

The Strategic Insights Hub will help you drive positive change faster with the insights from leading companies who have overcome similar challenges. Merge Surveys

In some scenarios, clients want to run split surveys targeting specific organizations, demographics, or languages. Innovation Minds provides seamless features that merge two survey datasets provided that the format is compatible.

Data Extraction

Use the Reports feature to view, download, or migrate any level of survey responses dataset as either a CSV file or through an API gateway that seamlessly integrates them with your enterprise analytics tools.

Close and rerun or Archive

There are two ways to close a survey: The first option is to close the survey once the season is over but reopen it for the next cycle. The second option is to archive the survey after taking appropriate data extractions. Both options are supported using Innovation Minds Admin modules.
